ARGH

So I'm at MassBay, trying to register for Fall classes. I want to take English so I don't feel like a total slacker. HOWEVER, I can't take English unless I take a placement test, and I can't take the placement test until August. I needed to register today. So, after asking if I could at least register for English and then take the test (a, I know I would be able to take the class I want once the results came back, and b, the answer was no), I decided to register for three classes and deal with English later.

I really wanted to get my whole schedual straightened out today.

And would it kill people in admin to be a little less bitchy? I'm not a fan of being glared at for asking a simple question - politely, no less!

So hanging out here for a little while, then to my acting teacher's house so she can tell me what I need to know when I housesit for her in August. Then onto the counseler meeting for the camp, which I am NOT looking forward to... and then home, to further ponder goth!Lucas.

Isn't it amazing? People who work at schools just seemed inclined to glare for no apparent reason. I've gotten the same glare too many times to count. (Like the time I jokingly pointed out that it seemed silly to have to take any math for a degree in English... *sigh*)

On the other hand, aren't those English placement tests painfully easy? It seemed kind of like a fourth grade test to me...

*ponders goth!Lucas too....* It really could make an interesting story, couldn't it?

Well, I have to go to work now... maybe I'll ponder goth!Lucas to make it go faster. Maybe a story will spawn.

I think admin people are hired based on how good of a glare they can give ya when asking pertinent questions.
