So I got home today, and I updated about the signing, and then my mom says... "So do you want a new camera?"
Um. Yes. The Nikormat I'd been using is almost 30 years old, is losing its ability to keep out light, and has a disconcerting lack of working light meter. So yes, I need a new camera. I figured I'd have to finish out the semester using the old one. But nope.
In the next three days, I will be the owner of a brand-new Canon EOS Rebel K2, along with a EF-28-80 II Autofocus zoom lense. It has both automatic and manual settings, a built-in flash, and about a billion different shooting options. I can't wait.
