Overachieving

Like I don't have enough on my plate with the "Lucas Loves" challenge at seadeck and the Jedi Santa fic exchange thingie - neither of which I have particularly started... (although the "Lucas Loves" challenge is a crossover challenge this year and I called dibs on SW so technically it doesn't mean I have to jump between fandoms mentally as much as I would otherwise)

I decided to give NaNoWriMo another go. I've "done" it the past two years, but never got past 1000 words or so. This year I'm "stooping" to writing fanfic just so I know I don't have to slave away creating characters and a universe for something nobody's ever going to read. (Because no, I don't have much interest in writing long original pieces - short stuff, yes, long stuff, no - for myself.)

Oh, plus the bondage challenge on uweremybrother.

So there's that.

Money makes the world go 'round

So I think my dog ate my Sovereign debit card. Which is okay, since I'm closing that account out anyway, but still. So I finally activated my new debit card/checking account. There's not much money in there right now, but I'm not overly concerned, since I get paid tomorrow anyway. I'll have to put some in the other checking to cover whatever charges haven't gone through yet, but that's okay.

So I need to switch my hosting billing over to the new account, and now I have a static solid account to pay for WoW.

I talked to my Mass Media professor, and we decided on a kick ass topic for my final paper.
