Where are those dozens of comments this fic should have? It's really great. I love the delicate *imbalance* between Erik and Charles, the fact that Erik is always the one who's used to the worst in people and Charles - even after all those years - has kept this naive belief that people are good and is always surprised by any "unnecessary" violence. And he didn't even considered that Erik - also known as Magneto, mass murderer and terrorist - would not be treated nicely in human prison.
I think that those prison scenes are the best part of X2 movie, both Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart were awesome in this, it was interesting to see that such powerful people like Magneto and Professor X can be so fragile - and so (well, relatively) easy to hurt.
