I would get all pissed off about Lee Goldberg's amazing decent into further assholishness, but since it's obvious he's been going down that road for quite some time (*remembers the producers vs. fans flamewar back in the day*), I can't muster the energy to blast him for being a whiny little bitch.

And like I told hearsawho: for someone who claims to hate fandom (and the sQ fandom in particular), he sure knows a hell of a lot about it.

So really... get over yourself, Lee. The fact you were involved in 2032 really doesn't do you any favors in terms of your credibility.

I honestly cannot fathom why anyone working on a show would hate their fans. No seriously, wtf? It's the fans keeping you alive, you assholes (well, until you do something as messed up as 2032 where not even the fans can save you), so let's show some perspective here and maybe a little APPRECIATION for a change!

Lee was one of the prime instigators, actually. I only came into the fandom about a month after that whole thing went down, so I don't know all the details beyond the fans were pissed about the direction the show was taking and Lee was pissed because how dare the fans care about things like that... it was a pretty nasty fight, really, and ended with the producers basically giving the fans free reign in terms of fanfic and whatnot, just to shut us up. :P

Guy is out of his mind. It's one thing to piss off the fans when the show is dead and done, but it's an entirely different sort of INSANITY to do it while the show is still on the air, not to mention struggling and depending on fans continuing to tune in! Who the hell let him get a job in television if he can't understand something as basic as that? Makes me wonder if his bosses know about his blog.

In any case, I'd say the fans won that encounter. XD No wonder he seems to have a rabid dislike of the sQ fandom. Ha!
