So I go to school today. It's crowded. VERY crowded. I hate crowds, particularly when everyone is trying to get to the same place... and crowded parking lots suck the big one. Anyway. My Art History class looks neat, and there's a girl in it who's thinking of transferring to the same art school I am, which is nifty. The book is enormous and is extremely expensive - and I can't get it used. So I'm at the bookstore, and they've rearranged it so you give your list to the people behind the counter and they get the books for you - as opposed to getting them youself, which I find easier, but that's just me. Anyhoo, I finally get the big-ass book and go to pay and... guess what!! My credit card was declined! And, as usual, I have no cash on me whatsoever and no checkbook.
So I went home and tried calling the bank, but sadly I don't remember by account number. Which means I'll just have to go to an ATM and pray it works and take the cash out and pay in cash tomorrow, which is a BIG hassle, because I wasn't planning on going into Wellesley tomorrow.
And it looks like the cafeteria is only open until 1:30pm, which sucks because I have a couple afternoon/night classes... oh well, I'll bring my own snacks and drinks. Yum, snacks and drinks.
One of the things for the Art History class is a presentation or report, and one of the options is to.. create a piece of art. Since I don't want to write any more papers than I positively need to, and since I really need to, you know, start making art if I'm going to call myself an artist, I'm doing that option. Technically I already have something done that I can use, but I think I'll do something else. Just so I feel like I'm working and not cheating the system.
