Woo!

I spent most of the afternoon and evening setting up my darkroom. I mixed the chemicals and made sure the enlarger worked and cleaned the trays that have been sitting in my grandparents' basement for over fifteen years. In fact, all of this stuff (except the chemicals) has been sitting in the basement for over fifteen years. It was kind of dirty and scuzzy, but after some good cleaning and re-focusing, it all looks good and workable. I have a safelight. All I really need now is running water down there, but there is a sink right across the hall from the basement stairs, so it can work.

I was a little afraid I hadn't mixed the chemicals right, but I processed a roll of film, and it came out wonderfully. Tomorrow I'll do another roll and play with the enlarger on the first roll.

I meant to email miiro the icons I made for her, but they're on my other computer. Deathly sorry, I will email you them as soon as I get home tomorrow. ("My fandom has a motorcycle. Yeah, a motorcycle. You heard me.")
