Good news all around

So I'm halfway through the tape sent by my lovely, generous benefactor, and I am in mourning over the Transformation of Sunshine. (Maybe vigilante-Sunshine and Ensign Wolenczak come from the same angry pod?)

Anyway, I also got my grades for the semester... All A's. (well, one A-)

3.9 GPA (3.5 cumulative).

Absolutely in shock. In a good way. :)

So I want to write a story. Something that hasn't been done. And while I was wracking my brain for ELFy plots that haven't been done yet (and there aren't many), I came up with something. I don't think it's been done. (Siamese Dream doesn't count, btw)

We all know how often Lucas is taken captive and interogated about various things in fic. We all know how strong-willed our boy is. Each fic has him standing up to his captors and not giving in.

Well.

Even strong minds and bodies have their breaking points.

What would make Lucas give in? What would make him crack under the strain? Would it be a threat to his friends? Would it be excrutiating physical pain? Would it be mind games and psychological warfare?

And what would the aftermath be?

Would he give in?

I think, if given the right push, he would.

Now, this is obviously disregarding what happened with Clay Marshall, because those were... special circumstances. What about if the interogator was not an evil psychic genius? Take away the brainfuck, and what would happen?

It would obviously vary by season, but in general. What if?
