My first thoughts upon waking this morning:
Fuck, it's cold!
Such thoughts sustained me for the rest of the day, which I spent depositing my paycheck in a bank account I can actually use the card for (ie, not just an ATM card, thus being able to make online purchases again - yay!), and going and spending said paycheck at the Emerald Square Mall, which is quite a haul to make considering I only bought shit from stores that are also in Natick.
Well, my plan had been to buy some new shirts at Torrid, the "plus-sized Hot Topic", but since they had no appealing shirts (dude, why are plus-sized shirts so god-awful 80's ugly???), I ended up going to regular-sized Hot Topic and buying three shirts. It's not like I can't fit into Hot Topic's XL's... it's just that they sometimes don't have the stuff I want in XL. But they had the ones I wanted in sizes that will fit me, so that is good. I got the CSI soundtrack and a new CSI book... yeah, this Max Allen whoever dude needs to write more quickly so I don't run out. I read these things in a couple hours. They're like crack. The good kind. And they're not shitty-fanfiction-level writing either, like some TV tie in books I've read (*coughcough* seaQuest, I'm looking in your direction *coughcough*).
The one thing I did that I couldn't do in Natick is I went to an upscale doggie boutique and got my dog a shitload of fancy treats. I got her this one cookie that looks so delicious I want to try some. ;) I only gave her one of the less-fancy ones so far because I want to show my mom the super-fancy one. Heh. I'm a dork.
Anyway, contemplating going to lunch with my dad tomorrow, since I've been getting up at normal-people time the past couple days. Got up at nine this morning! NINE! Of course, I didn't get out of bed until noon, but I was awake the whole time. Well, most of the time. In any case, it's better than getting up at 5pm like I've been doing.
