MAJOR FACELIFT
Feb. 18th, 2005 10:04 pmGo see the new look of my site! It's so pretty and crisp and clean and I just adore it. :) I hope everyone else likes it!
So yeah. Found out I can become a CSA (crime scene analyst) with an Associates, a certification from the American Association of Forensic Science ($808 for the certification course, as of 2001), and a firearms permit. Of course, that's for Vegas. It might be different for around here, but I doubt it. Anyone know how much it costs to live in Vegas? (::looks in
drunken_hawkeye's direction::) So I'm going to get my firearms permit soon, and start the certification program as soon as I figure out if I can do it online, or if I have to go somewhere for it. Not going to buy a gun because that's just not going to fly, but I'll at least get certified for it so I can say I don't need extra training for firearms. It'll look good on the resume, as will the forensics certification.
With any luck, I'll be in the field within the next two years.
ETA: How did I miss this? MassBay offers a program in Forenscs. It was buried in the Biotech major. I did out the logistics, and I'll still be able to graduate by next summer.

It's going to be a lot of very hard work, but I'm going to do it. I know I'm going to do it. I have to. This is what I've always wanted, and it's so close I can taste it.
