Writers...
May. 7th, 2005 04:03 pmThis is the place where I get paranoid that
auxiliary_sabre is talking about me... and my response to the situation in general. (Although, you know, talented and popular is not how I would describe myself).
Anyway.
When I get reviews, I do my best to respond to my reviewers. They take the time to read or look at my stuff and respond to what they see... the least I can do is reply and say "woo! someone other than me likes this!" Sometimes I miss a review, or put it off and forget. But as an overall rule, I try to at least acknowledge the review.
I've never been an active part of a larger fandom, and therefore don't know how the dynamics work. I've heard horror stories about BNFs acting like superstars of the fandom world, which boggles my mind, particularly coming from the sQ fandom, where I don't think anyone doesn't know everyone else.
Okay, that come out less coherant than I'd wanted, but... meh.
