Force Lightning!!
Oct. 5th, 2005 09:13 pmHehe. I finally broke down and bought the RotS game for PS2. Because I needed it like oxygen, yo.
Soon, soon, soon I will write up a "dumbass customers" post. Promise. I had one woman today tell me that I would lose my business (I think she thought I, personally, own the store when really... um... I don't. Susan doesn't own it either, and I tried to explain it to her, but... well...) because I set my prices too high. Like, me. Personally. Dude, if that were the case, don't you think I'd be paying myself a bit more? ;)
Okay, granted, we are a little more expensive than other dry cleaners, but mostly because our process is a LOT more labor-intensive. We have a huge workforce, plus everything gets shipped out to get cleaned - fueling trucks = expensive. So yeah, you might have to pay $5.50 for a pair of pants, but they'll be done well, and your friendly store supervisor (aka: me) will make your visit worth it. I know it sounds like I'm spouting corporate talking points, but I happen to believe them, thank you very much. Sure, the company can be a bit of a clusterfuck sometimes, but it's nowhere near as bad as Blockbuster - or even VP.
*shrug* I love it when people think I'm the one who makes the decisions about shit like that.
