Star Wars moment
Nov. 14th, 2005 09:48 amOkay, so every moment is a Star Wars moment in my brain, but this was particularly adorable.
So this guy comes in with his son - kid can't be more than three or four. The kid has two of those Burger King SW figures. I said hi, and asked him what he had, and he said "Star Wars guys". And then I asked him who they were. "Obi," he said, holding up a TPM Obi-Wan. I asked him who the other guy was (RotJ Luke, btw). "And who's that? Is that Luke?" and the kid looks at me and grins a little and goes "No, Qui-Gon."
The kid's dad goes "Yeah, he's calling him Qui-Gon. I have no idea why. But he's obsessed."
So, naturally, I said "Yeah, me too."
And the dad says, "Yeah, so am I."
But the way this little kid said "Qui-Gon" was the cutest thing I've seen in quite some time.
Thus, I share.
*hugs* for
drunken_hawkeye. I miss you and I love you. I do have more random babbling expressions of affection to say to you, but I'll put it in a locked post later today. :)
Sorry I wasn't online last night,
citizenjess - I fell asleep on the couch thinking my IM noise would wake me up. Oh so didn't happen. :( It was cool talking to you, though - my stomach hurt from laughing so hard.
