forensic anthropology is love
brought to you by the isLove Generator

So very, very true. Particularly since... you know... CSI is my new crack, and my current favorite non-fiction book is "Dead Men Do Tell Tales: Case Studies in Forensic Antropology". Yeah, I probably need a life. Speaking of forensics and no lives, I'm contemplating a Sara-centric CSI ficlet thing. Anyway.

Got my grades for last semester. All A's. Go me. That meant my final essay for English didn't suck nearly as much as I thought it did. So far filling out applications for Wellesley College, Regis, Harvard, Northeastern... Thinking of switching things up - major in History, double minor in Poli Sci and Communications. Aiming for either Spring of next year, or Fall of next year. Kind of want to get the AA from MassBay first, but whatever. Then there's always criminalistics, which has always and forever been a passion, but eh.

Hey! It feels like I haven't commented in forever, so I wanted to drop by and say congratulations on the awesome grades and wish you best of luck with the school applications [you know I'm biased towards one of those schools ;)]

Hehe thanks!

And yes, I was thinking of your various posts on the subject when I was half-assedly filling out the application today. Harvard's always seemed faaaar out of reach for me, but my parents finally said "don't worry about cost", and my advisors and professors at MassBay said "don't worry about grades".... so I'm giving it a try.

Grats on the excellent grades. I'm sure you underestimate yourself in the English department, and it's not too hard to keep even college level English professors happy. Most of them are amazed if you're mostly-literate, let alone eloquent. Anyone who writes like you do is bound to thrill them.

Woo, go Harvard! I was once accepted into the school of my dreams, even though my grades were less than impressive in high school. I think it was the test scores they liked. Didn't go because of the money thing, but it's still a nice ego boost now and then. I'll bet that you can get in wherever you want. :)

Oooh, History major, even better than PoliSci! I would SO love to take that many history classes.

*laughs* Well it's not my fault that you didn't major in history, now, is it? :D

Silly Bull.

(Of course, it's probably easier to get a job with PoliSci... Meh, whatever.)
