I'm back in MA for a few days, and... wow. First of all, nothing changes. The biggest difference is the fact my parents now have a big-screen flat-panel HD television. For some reason. I'm looking forward to watching Satr Wras on it.

Other than that... things are as nutty here as usual. Crazy-grandma is harping on a picture of her that apparently is getting emailed around amongst her friends (old people have teh intrawebs??), Dad is breaking all fashion rules by wearing a cordoroy suit jacket with military-style cargo pants, Mom is her usual loving, neurotic self, and Ryan is a fucking supergenius making $25 an hour doing web design.

I could not be happier to have access to my mom's laptop and WiFi internet.

I love my family, please don't get me wrong. I adore them, and I'm very happy to be here for Christmas, to see them all again, but... Wow. Just wow. I've spent the entire morning laughing my ass off.
