/Into the Woods
Ah, the joys of being an insomniac. I was up all night going through the old ELF list archive. I wish my old computer hadn't first crashed then fallen into the hands of my evil younger brother, thus losing all of my old conversations with people like
emeraldgreensea,
chance, and especially AT. The stapler thing yesterday with emerald is what brought up this sudden surge of nostalgia.
I wish I had my original drafts of Gethsemane. It's gotten so warped over the three years I've been working on it that I don't even know what my original intent for it was. Does anyone out there have those?
Anyway. I'm going to settle down with some yummy Chinese food (I swear to God, the best pan-fried noodles on the face of the planet) and watch Nothing But the Truth again, since my mother took it upon herself to try to talk to me during all of the key scenes (aka, scenes that Lucas was in).

Date: 2003-08-15 01:08 pm (UTC)Well, I'm glad one of us does, because I sure don't. I'm continuing it, though. I like the premise and I have a decent idea of what to do with Katie.
No. The only way it could have been worse is if she said we were bringing the dog.

Date: 2003-08-15 01:52 pm (UTC)In fact I think I have a little more than what you posted on your lj. Why yes, I am a packrat when it comes to stories, snippets and other things.
Ooo... that would have been a treat. ;)

Date: 2003-08-15 01:55 pm (UTC)Really? I wonder if you have more than what I have on my disk. I used to write in my email program instead of Word... could you look for that, too? I know, I know, I'm being a pain, but I'm trying to get back a lot of what I'm only now realizing I lost.
I know. Ugh. I'd rather have teeth pulled.

Date: 2003-08-15 02:09 pm (UTC)Yeah, I have a vague recollection that there was more. I'll look, it's not a problem.
At least when teeth are pulled, you get good drugs (or at least I did).

I've never actually had a tooth pulled, but I did get a filling the other day. ;)

Date: 2003-08-15 02:31 pm (UTC)No problem, I don't make any promises mind you, but I'll look.
Lucky you. I've actually had many teeth pulled...ah, the joys of braces.

Date: 2003-08-15 02:34 pm (UTC)That's all I ask. Thank you. :)
Yuck. I had braces, but luckily nothing needed to be pulled out. I will need my wisdom teeth out before I'm off my parents' insurance, though.

Date: 2003-08-15 06:47 pm (UTC)And guess what? I found it. I'll be e-mailing shortly. Still looking for Gethsemane.
My mouth is too small for all my teeth, so I had four adult teeth pulled, plus the wisdom teeth, because I'm lucky like that.

Well, now I have nice straight teeth, so it paid off in the end.
