Oct. 20th, 2005 03:28 pmI am sucking so much at getting up in time for class this week. At least I finished my midterm essays and got them in. :)
My padawan is headed for agricorps. We're counting on her not showing up this weekend. If she does, I'll be happily surprised, but if she doesn't that's two double shifts by myself in a row for Master Diena. *sigh* BUT! Susan gave me TWO DAYS off next week. Tuesday and SATURDAY. She gave me SATURDAY off!!! :D
I'm doing paperwork. I like doing paperwork. I wish I could do that and not deal with customers at all. But alas. Luckily I am very good at pretending I care about their laundry. :)
I have to do an annotated bibliography for Management that's due tomorrow. My topic is hiring and retaining employees in a corporate setting vs. a small business setting. I'm stealing my new hire binder from work as one of my sources. I bought a book last night about the topic, and I'm going to look through Amazon tonight for the whole "look inside" bits for my other sources. I need to find my or my mom's library card so I can access Infotrac for my other sources.
So in short, I'll be around tonight because I HAVE to finish this.
My parents are seeing Springsteen at the Centrum tonight. Lucky bastards. Which means I'm outta here as close to 7 as possible so I can feed my brother.
I had a very rough couple days earlier in the week - very blah, very life sucks, very omg never getting out of here, very omg my blade is dull need to sharpen it. But these past two days I have been manic. Like, literally seriously clinically manic. drunken_hawkeye's, even though it's a fourteen hour drive and it was 10 at night. I suppose I'm not horribly bad off considering I only drove a few miles on the Pike and then turned around. *shrug*
Sadly, none of this energy is getting directed into anything productive. I mean, other than long rambly posts on my LJ when I should be doing paperwork...
